A Day at the Park with Papa
Pietro and Papa are playing in the park. Look! There are dark shapes on the ground. It's their shadows!
It's a beautiful sunny day. Papa takes Pietro to the park. Pietro runs around on the soft green grass. Suddenly, he stops when he sees a dark shape following his feet. - Papa, who is this dark friend under my feet?
Papa laughs and stands next to Pietro. Look! Next to Pietro's little shadow is Papa's big shadow. Papa says those are their shadows made by the bright sun. - Look, Papa's shadow is so big, and Pietro's shadow is tiny!
Papa raises his arms high and waves. The big shadow on the grass waves back. Pietro is so excited! He raises his arms too and starts jumping. The two shadows on the ground dance along with them. - Haha! The shadows can dance too, Papa!
Papa picks Pietro up and gives him a sweet kiss on the cheek. Now the two shadows have become one big shadow. Pietro hugs Papa's neck tightly. Both of them laugh together in the park. - I love you the most, Papa!
