The Museum of Wonders
Follow little Zoe and her grandpa on a quiet afternoon as they explore a grand museum, discovering an ancient wooden sailing ship, a tiny wooden sailor, and a bronze compass.
Zoe holds her grandpa's warm hand as they walk into the high-ceilinged museum hall. In the center of the exhibition room stands a giant model of an ancient wooden sailing ship with tall white sails. The room smells of dry wood and warm paper. Zoe leans in close to the glass display box, carefully counting the tiny threads tied to the wooden masts like thin sewing threads. She whispers to her grandpa, wondering if the white sails ever catch a secret wind and fly away when the museum lights go out at night.
Zoe giggles softly when she spots a tiny wooden figure standing on the ship's deck, holding a steering wheel as small as a button. She asks her grandpa in a soft whisper if the little sailor gets lonely standing there all by himself. Her grandpa leans close and whispers back that the sailor is never lonely because he has colorful painted dolphins jumping on the wooden waves around the ship to keep him company every night.

Zoe presses her forehead gently against the cool glass, watching the leaf needle spin toward the north. She closes her eyes, imagining the wooden ship sailing across a sparkling ocean to find a secret treasure island.
The two travelers sit together on a long wooden bench next to a large window.
