The Great Wind Symphony
During a howling windstorm that sounds like a roaring monster, Teddy is terrified inside their small tent. Kit teaches him to view the wind as a lonely singer and shows him how to play hollow bamboo flutes to turn the scary noise into a beautiful, soothing melody.
Kit and Teddy are playing inside their warm little tent in the middle of a stone valley in the evening. Suddenly, a powerful windstorm rushes in. The howling wind roars loudly through the narrow stone gaps, sounding like the scary roar of a giant angry monster. Teddy is terrified, quickly curling up in the corner of the tent while covering his ears tight and shivering with fear
The windstorm grows stronger and stronger, making the grass walls of the tent shake violently. Teddy holds his cloud pillow tight to his chest, crying and telling Kit that the wind monster outside is very angry and wants to blow their small tent away. Kit smiles warmly, sitting close to Teddy and placing a gentle hand on his shoulder to help him calm down and listen to the rhythm of the wind
Kit explains to Teddy that the wind is not an angry monster, but a giant singer with a very loud voice who is feeling lonely. The giant singer only wants to find other instruments so they can play a warm song together. Kit takes out two hollow bamboo flutes they found along the way, giving one to Teddy and whispering softly: - The wind singer is waiting for us to join in, why do you not try it Teddy
Kit bravely steps near the tent entrance, holding the hollow bamboo flute out into the wind. As the wind blows through the small holes on the flute, a soft and warm whistling sound rises, blending with the howling storm outside the valley. Kit turns back and waves to encourage Teddy. Teddy hesitates, his hands still shaking slightly, but the little bear slowly holds his bamboo flute up to meet the wind
When both bamboo flutes catch the wind, they create beautiful high and low notes that blend together sweetly. Teddy listens to the wind storm clatter, and now he hears it as a deep, warm backing track for the clear bamboo flutes. Teddy is no longer afraid, and the little bear begins to tilt his flute to match the wind directions, changing the high and low pitches of the music
The windstorm seems to feel the music, and the loud roaring wind slowly changes into a steady, gentle breeze. The whistling sound of the bamboo flutes and the rustling wind blend into a beautiful melody that spreads all across the dark valley. Teddy laughs happily, standing confidently next to Kit as they play their flutes in harmony with the gentle nature
The windstorm has completely quieted down, leaving only a gentle breeze that carries the soft flute melody like a sweet lullaby. Kit and Teddy place their two bamboo flutes in the ground outside the tent so the wind can play by itself. The two little friends sit side by side in front of the tent entrance, peacefully watching the twinkling stars appear in the night sky as they listen to the quiet song of the wind singer
